T-54B (Object 137G2) based on the T-54A. Serially produced from 1957 to 1959. Rotating floor of the fighting compartment. Equipment for underwater driving. The onboard fuel supply has been increased to 1212 liters, to ensure the tank's cruising range - up to 430 km. Later, during modernization, the tank was equipped with: a V-55 engine with a power of 580 hp. s., road wheels unified with the T-55, tracks with RMSh, TSh-2B-32 sight, R-123 radio station, ammunition rack for 43 rounds, KTD-1 laser rangefinder (not on all vehicles). Some vehicles were equipped for the installation of universal watercraft PST-U and PST-63.
