The T-72 "Ural" is a post-war Soviet main battle tank. Served in the Soviet Army since 1973. The T-72 was developed and manufactured by the Ural Plant in Nizhny Tagil. Ural served the CIS countries and was exported to the Warsaw Pact countries, Finland, India, Iran, Iraq and Syria.
